Mulching

The use of mulching machines across the agricultural and environmental communities is growing every year. Mulching is both cost-effective and positive for the environment.

We utilize track machines versus conventional wheels or tires. Tracks allow for greater traction in low lands and leave a smaller impact on ground vegetation and soils. The cutting drum has dozens of sharp blades that mulch material similar to a carpenter’s wood plane. This method of mulching is widely utilized to underbrush properties, create basic roads through heavy woods or brush, and control nuisance or invasive exotics.

While physically clearing or root raking land is still the most thorough method, grinding is economical and has positive impacts on the soil. By mulching vegetation we return organic material to the soil to promote a healthy ecological environment, while reducing the cost of more traditional clearing methods.
